WELCOME to the official webpage of the the Vampire Ball of New York! This is one of the longest running events of its type in the world. Started in 1996 at the original Bank nightclub and now celebrating the 14th year of this event, the NYC Vampire Ball commences the countdown to the Endless Night Festival in New Orleans on October 30th, 2010. This event served as the first ever vampire / Vampyre themed event on the East Coast and is featured in Katherine Ramsland’s book Piercing the Darkness.

The New York Vampire Ball has been held at legendary venues such as Limelight, MOTHER, Coney Island High and the Bank (the original name of Element) and since 2006 has returned to its original home of Element NYC, located at 225 E. Houston St. NYC. This amazing three floor completely renovated venue has an amazing sound system and great dungeon space in the basement called the Vault.

Tickets are $15 in advance via our secure server via Paypal on January 15th, 2010 and will be available at Gothic Ren at 104 4th Avenue on Feb. 1st, 2010. Door tickets (if there are any left) will be $20 in dresscode and $30 out of dresscode.
There are a limited number of tickets so please get them in advance, we are having an unbelievable response to this event and have to limit the attendance to 999 patrons, so we are confident this event will SELL OUT!

This is a formal Vampire’s Ball and thus we create an atmosphere which is worthy of a Halloween in New Orleans holds the highest in standards of our costumed guests. Be creative and let it show!

~ Where to Stay?
Many have asked “I am coming from out of town and need a place to stay.” We suggest the St. Marks Hotel, right on St. Marks and 3rd Avenue, about 10 blocks from the club right in the East Village. They are clean, central and only take cash and rooms run between $110 (including taxes) to $140 for upto four people. This is our best suggestion and is a tried and true way of coming to NYC affordably.
~ Photo Policy, Press Passes and Media
The New York Vampire Ball is a private event and we are NOT seeking sensationalism or mainstream publicity. This is a “private family gathering” and there will be a limited number of press passes available on a case by case basis in advance. Please DO NOT bring professional cameras or video equipment or camcorders, these will not be allowed in to the event! ONLY those with legitimate and pre-approved press passes will be allowed to make video or photography within the event. We have our own professional camera crew and photographers which will be in the party who understands and respects our policies.
Any “scene photographers” who wish to bring in their cameras can be approved in advance and willing to provide us copies within 24 hours (the digital age is here) after the event are welcome to apply .
